Our Process
1. National Assessment of the state of child representation practice in America as of 2010.
2. Identify promising Models of Child Representation.
3. Disseminate results of national needs assessment.
4. Frame Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and invite applications for funds to implement specified models of child representation.
5. Award sub-grants to sites for demonstration/research projects. Assist and monitor implementation of the projects.
6. In cooperation with the sites, gather and evaluate data.
7. Promote NACC Certification of lawyers as specialists in child welfare law.
8. Disseminate knowledge and lessons learned at conferences and professional meetings.
